A multiplier day is a good day to go, because the same play can earn more points, comps, or tier credit. The calendar is the whole trick. If we go on an ordinary Tuesday and the multiplier was Wednesday, we did the same work for less.
Read the offer, not just the day
We look at the monthly calendar, the app, or the mailer before we pick a day. The word multiplier is not enough. We write down what is actually multiplied. Points, comps, tier credit, or all of them. Which games count. Reels and video poker often earn at different rates. The hours, not just the date. And whether we have to turn it on.
A short note is enough. Thursday, point multiplier, reels, all day, turn it on at the kiosk. If we cannot fill that in, we look it up again before we plan the trip around it.
Turn it on, then play inside the hours
A lot of multipliers do nothing until we swipe at a kiosk or opt in on the app. We do that when we walk in, before the first machine. Then the card goes in and we look at the screen. Many machines show a boosted rate, a banner, or a point pace that is different from a normal day. If we do not see it, we ask the club desk whether we are actually in the window.
Play outside those hours is a normal visit. Only the play inside the window gets the higher rate. We would rather arrive a little early and start when it turns on than play an hour beforehand and wonder why the points look ordinary.
We do not change the game just because the rate is higher
A multiplier is a better day for the way we already play. It is not a reason to jump denomination, chase a game we do not like, or raise the budget. The card still has to be in. The offer still has to be the one we wrote down. If both of those are true, the same session is simply worth more on the account.
We still cash out the way we planned. A bigger point balance is not the same thing as a bigger stack of cash, and we do not treat it like one.
